Where can I find info on Cats vs Deep Vee

Yea , just joking with you friend . Personally i like the soft ride a cat gives you not to mention the added speed and efficiency of less drag . I think the type of water conditions your planning on boating in and the length of vessel you can afford will have a direct bearing on what type hull will best suit you . deep

I too am interested in this. I have been looking for a new project hill and thought maybe I would look for a cat due to the speed of them. I didn't know they had a softer ride. I realize there is much less cabin, but we don't use ours much anyway. From what I understand they handle different due to having two hulls in the water. I would imagine it would be an odd ride with a quartering sea (bow or stern) since both hulls are crossing at different times. Do 26-28' cats handle rough water as good as a similar sized deep v?
Looking forward to see what kind of information comes from this thread.
