Default The Pantera 47 that wasn't - advice please?

I just bought the 47 ft offshore from Northern Michigan and I have some questions:

1. This is not a Pantera, although title and ad says it is.

According to this link: Pantera discussion Jo says

JO-Pantera boats
There seems to be three boats from this mold and factory. The other two are running S/Cs and I have the N/A 502 equipped. Mine also had a customized interior by the second owner in Michigan.

Is it an Apache? Aronow? I am indifferent, but very curious...

2. I would like to update the dash/ip. Are there any commercially available dashboards 48 by 19 inches?

3. Does anyone know how I can contact the builder? I would like to get wiring schematics as I will install a new Navigation and A/V system this fall.

Thanks in advance,

Anders

Can't help with your questions, but is that the one that was in Traverse City?

Reading various articles and forum posts, it is an Aronow design, labeled Pantera (title, dash engraved, etc), seems like he used Apache 45/47 molds, but the story gets pretty vague sometimes...

Love the boat and the way it handles, just curious...

If it was built in MO there is /was probably only a few people who could have built it. I think Challenger, they were in Washington, MO had the 37 Aronow they got it from Magic who called it a 39 vodoo, but not sure about the 45/47 (maybe they had it too). Challenger is out of buisiness. Maybe the title got messed up and it ended up being called a Pantera.

You sure it didn't start as a Pantera paid for but never delivered, then had to be completed elsewhere after a lawsuit? Kidding of course (you guys getting sick of that yet?)

Livorsi can build you a custom dash any way you like, lots of colors including some carbon fiber colors, or custom paint, and new style gauges and sending units.

Check out their website, you can send the old for a template.

Looks like a cool ride, congrats

I originally owned it, bought new in 97 and finished rigging it. Bought from Martin Marine in Lauderdale, it was built in Mo but never finished, I finished it at Ft Apache. Its was a 45 Aronow Alpha Mold. Awesome Offshore Boat.
