Hello, I'm new to oso. my name is Dan. I have a question if anyone knows. I bought a boat last august because I liked being down on my brothers boat which is why I discovered offshore only. The question is about my brothers boat. I explained to him how I saw pantera postings on these forums. He would like to know some history on his boat if you guys would happen to know. His boat is a 1995 47 ft pantera which he has been told is 1 of 2 made. He's been told the hull is an Aronow design. It has triple 502's. His boat 1 of the 2 was rigged much nicer than the other. The inside wasn't done as nice as the rest of the boat , like someone got it without being done at the factory and did the inside themsevles. He tore it out and had a beautiful job done. He toyed with the idea of selling it now, had a few calls. One call sparked more interest of my brother wanting to know more history on the boat. The prospective caller said he checked on the boat on his own. What his resorces were to the information , my brother doesn't know. What the guy stated was that he knew without being told in advance that it was 1 of 2 made and that it was made in Wisconsin?. Which is another reason for me asking you guys for my brother ( if you know) why would it have been made in Wisconsin? the boat title and numbers say Pantera on it. So any other information you may have would be appreciated , thank you Dan

the boat is a 47ft aronow, not a true pantera

There was a company out of Missouri that built these 2 boats back in the mid 90s.We did not have anything to do with these 2 boats.They were based out of the Aronow 45' molds.

thanks for the input guys! is there anymore that you could elaborate on? what the inspiration was? or who was the company, why just 2? why was it associated with Pantera?. seems kind of funny for someone to build 2 boats for the heck of it. there must be more to the story
