Default Speedcoat

Has anyone ever found out what the best surface for the bottom of a boat is for speed? We used speedcoat on all our raceboats but did it really do anything?

Has anything ever been proven to work? Or is good clean gel cote still the best?

What about golf ball dimples, anyone tried that?

surfactant injection from the trailing edge of the first step.....though you would leave a lot of bubbles in the wake....

Understand about trying to release as much surface tension to make a hull bottom faster. Waxing does the opposite as it creates more.

Golf ball dimples wonder how well or how much speed gains would take place as would'nt a hull bottom with a ton of blisters on it be the same idea.

Wonder if a hull bottom with blisters is a faster hull than with out to test some therories
