I had one with 700's and love the package. Less maintenance and easier on the drives. I'd typically run 110-120 with top mph of about 127. If you have the need to be upfront running with the big boys you won't like it but if you accept that there's always someone faster and your content being in the group you will love it. Have a friend that had 1075s and he seemed to have a lot more issues than I ever had . Overall really awesome boat and package.

Which boat was yours? I like the yellow boat at Pier 57.

That is the exact set up I would buy if I hadn't had to trade my cruiser. It will be my next one (even though I've been bashing MTIs on another thread)

Wish list
MTI 40 something footer (Royal blue paint with some silver)
700s
6 seat pleasure configuration
small cabin with 12volt A/C option and small head
tilt trailer

Great looking boats. At what speed does the hop start and how fast do you have to go in order to get out of the hop

Starts about 65 and stops around 88 if there is no wind. If it is a windy day mine will run at any speed with little hop.

It all depends how you drive them. I've been in some with very little or no hop.
