As the air inlet area is identical, the airflow will depend on the pressure drop across the filter element/arrestor. You could ask each manufacturer for the shop measured pressure drop, but I'm not sue I would believe them. In fact, I had a guy on the phone from K&N who was surprisingly honest and told me the reason they don't post HP increases for their FA's is because they don't water test them.
When I bought a K&N FA (2" x 9") to replace my stock OMC FA (same size) I picked up 0.5 MPH (GPS) on a 2 run average. Total 4 runs within 15 minutes to minimize variables like air temp and wind.
