First off I've been a lurker for a year or so and figured I should introduce myself and get more "involved". My name is Reece and boat with my dad mostly on Lake Ouachita in Arkansas. Here's a quick rundown of our boat. Its a 2009 25' Eliminator Daytona with a 572ci engine running a 4 liter whipple charger at 11lbs boost @ 5800 redline (made right at 1060HP). A small boat with this type of power is crazy fun!
Outdrive is an imco SCX with 1.36 gear ratio turning a 32 pitch 4 blade bravo. Fastest we've ran it is about 125 @ 5600rpm before it starts getting a little "light" and porpoising. We are going to drop the lower 2" this winter and see if this helps the problem.

(wish I could figure the embedding out to have the video on this thread)
Here are a couple of pics!

Forgive me on the video quality as I made it on my ipad in about 45 minutes with imovie. For the time invested I think it turned out ok.
No problem Im glad others can see what we high-performance boaters live for from a first person perspective!
We were crusing at 80-90 for the first 3 minutes or so to let the internals, oil temps, and supercharger temps come up before we ran her hard! The XR has been holding up well for 1000+hp....we try not to mash the throttle on take off but we definitely arent easy on the drive one bit once planed out!
Thanks! Theres nothing like a nice runnin' cat!
