Are you talking about the mobile device as the input or the display screen? Cool thinking though. A mobile app that can use the mobile to display a cam signal for backup etc would be very versatile. Great idea.

i also had the idea to shut off text option on phones when kids are driving their cars,,att got wind of it and i got screwed again,,,,i have to keep my mouth shut i guess lol..

That is only half, The ntsb display I dont believe is supported through the I phone display, but it will charge ur phone...
