These wheels were free, sort of, and are in the ball park of being a good rough water 85 mph wheel. I really did not know what was possible or was it worth experimenting.

Without going through a annealing and heat treat process, the repair will most likely fail. We will a blade if required but not a entire propeller. (except in rare or unique cases)
The cost to do this really prohibits the value.
Better starting fresh.

Hey Bret, while I have your attention, and thanks for the input btw, I have another issue. This past spring I had Hering copy a set of Matt and Julie 6blds, which they said they could., (my first mistake). They basically worked like crap. They reworked them and I got a little more out of them, just barely enough speed though for my class. They also seem to have way to much bite as I'm going through drive parts now. I'm worried about thinning them too much to the point of breaking as they are not cheap. I wonder if I should start from scratch or rework something else. With all the drive repairs still to address the prop budjet is running a little low. The 6's are for sbi and the bravo was an opa idea. So not only do I need to resolve my 6bld problem but come up with a wheel to start off with opa. Brian

bwd,

Reworking the Hering copy to perform better would not be the first time we did that.
Looks like this is a phone call situation. Why don't you call me when it is convienient for you.

Thank you,
Brett
