hello everyone i am going to look at my first performance boat on saturday(2003 powerquest 280 silencer 496 ho with 311 hours)boat all stock with cockpit cover and trailer.my question is if the boat is extreamely clean and in excellent condition what would you offer for a bottom line starting price and whats the max you would pay? thanks everyone and hope this is the last boat i have to ask advice on buying.

I would not offer less than 25,000 and would not pay more than 29,000,, thats just me,, I actually prefer the boat with the 502 mag over the 496... if the boat was in great shape
getting it in the range of 25-29 would probably be a good deal.. I would also make him aware that you are looking at other lower priced powerquests. in justifying your lower offer
most people selling their boats, usually know where their competing sales are
good luck..... and make sure it was not a salt boat... although it is a closed system... no salty boats for me
