What is the proper way to test headers for leaks. Pics would be great.

Plug one end and hook up a garden hose to the other. Turn it on full blast and wait a few minutes.

I used 40 psi. Let 'em sit awhile with the water jacket pressurized and watch for any bubbles.

You should check a post I did in GD asking the same question. Several ways to skin it. I ended up getting an air gauge as recommended by one of the members in that post and going that route.... Worked great and I didn't have to take the headers off..

I tested them at 30psi.

I Let them sit overnight.

i took the hose end off the thermostat housing, used he right combination of fittings and connected it there. Then I stole one of my caps off my other header, capped off the water hose on top of the header, filled it to 30 psi and let it sit.

I will also say, I drained the water before I did that so that if there was a leak it didn't force water into the heads...
