Default Gasp... Bimini Top needed...

I know they are the bane of many a performance boater.. But, it is very nice having one for the lazy days here in Pittsburgh. Anybody know a good place to get a quality bimini top? I have a 36 Outlaw and would like to get one that is long enough to cover the large cockpit on this boat. Especially if It can be securely mounted to the boat so it can stay up while I am running at moderate speeds. Thanks gang..

There is a lady at Raystown Lake that has been making high quality covers for years . Kathys Custom Covers is the name of the business and it's located about 2 miles from 7 Points Marina in Hesston . I have seen her work first hand on some 50' houseboats and cruisers , very very nice . http://www.majon.com/local/boat-cove...overs-by-kathy

There are a few local places here that I can get the canvass done. Figured worse case scenario I will buy the parts, build the frame myself then have the canvass done. Was hoping a company had them in existence to cut out all the extra work. lol

Many years ago I bought one from Overtons Marine and just bolted it down and it was decent quality.

if you order the Overtons with a stainless frame and sunbrella it is as good as anything you can get, I had aluminum frame for the weight and it was fine also.

Ive got one on my SCS, it is easily removable and hugs the boat real close when its open My wife loves it, and its easdy to open and close. Def a good investment.

I have a white one with a stainless frame that was on my Cig Café racer I would sell.

Most are made out of aluminum.

I just had a canvas shop make one for the PQ when I had one done... They made the frame and all for me.. not a bad price, and I could get it any color I wanted..

You are probably only looking at $7-900 to have one custom made from stainless.

Or I could just come take your boat away from you. Solves two problems.
