Default 33 power play and 311 formula

Coming from an outboard cat looking to get into a more family oriented performance V bottom and having spent little time in many V bottoms I was hoping you guys could help me out a little. I have been looking at a few 311 and some 33 sport decks. All are about the same year ( early 90's) , pretty much the same size, power, and drives. I have learned that the PP is a fair amount faster with the same power. Other than that can some of you guys give me some other reasons that would make the PP worth nearly twice the money.

Sorry if sounds like dumb questions just trying to get familiar with the boats. Thanks for any input.

Build quality. Handle bigger water better. Rarer. Better looking etc.

Take a ride in both and buy the one you think fits your needs better.

I would say it depends if you like a windshield or not.

Power Play.....Better offshore hull, faster, better resale, awesome timeless lines, not outdated at all.

Just curious what year PP? Or what PP? The 95' and up are liner boats with a deeper hull.

311 may be a better setup for family use though. Agree with all of the above otherwise.

PowerPlay

Hands down, you wont regret it. They are some of the most robustly built boats and will have great resale.

I've ridden in and driven a 33' power play, very impressive, great ride, deep vee like a Cigarette. You'll be able to take the family out in and have a great time, and if it gets bumpy, that Power Play will handle some pretty snotty water. Should also hold it's value pretty well.

I owned a 292 and would say the PP rides a lot better in the snot.
