I have contacted a few local prop shops asking about props that save fuel - rather than speed I am looking for distance and fuel efficiency traveling fairly long distances in my 38ft Scarab - twin 502 Merc's - Bravo 1 out-drives.
I know little about pitch etc... to request a specific prop.
Can you guys educate me what the diff's are - metal, pitch etc... - I need to order soon.
I won't name any shops but I contacted a few in Houston, Texas I thought would steer me right - but they have left me hanging without follow-up or dropped my emails.
With delivery costs nowadays I think ordering them from the most knowledgeable and dependable shop no matter where its located is the best idea (?)
You guys have any pro-prop shops for me to contact please ?

My suggestion would be to first get some accurate GPS vs rpm numbers on your current props. 3000, 3500, 4000, and WOT. Accuracy is key! Call them with what you have found and what you desire and start testing.

I've got two sets of props for my Cigarette, 37p 4 blades for all out speed and 34p 5 blade Hering's for everyday/cruising. The efficiency with the 5 blades is amazing.
Greatly reduced slip/fuel consumption with the 5 blades.
As mentioned above, talk to Brett @ Bblades, he'll hook you up.
Edit, I see you are in Thailand. Shipping will be a *****!
