When I fired up the engines this spring they both fired right up, & sound good. I haven't gotten the boat wet yet because the river is still low but I will post my results on a thread I started in the building on a budget section. I can say that shipping across the border is a hassle & expensive but that is just the world we live in today. Randy

Mixed reviews. Some guys have had his engines in their boats for years then an equal amount of guys (like my buddy) barely got out of the Marina before it self destructed. Taken apart and shortcuts all over the place.

I had to engines rebuilt with an open cheque book told him make everything new!!! $35K later on 454's with small blowers.... I have had water in one drive bellow not tight... he said he went over drives..... one drive came apart after first trip...... carburetor issues after he told me they were rebuilt and then they were not rebuilt.... then he mentioned no warranty on the engines if I didn't put new gauges in boat....or if I ran it WOT for more then 5 mins at a time... etc etc etc. this guy is a clown... 1 engine runs great 1 engine was rough the day we picked it up... he explained it just needs to be run a bit...and adjusted the carb... then it seemed to be O.K. 4 probs so far with 13 hours on them. just had problems with same engine again this weekend... started choking... carb? igniton not sure yet...stay tuned I am yanking engines back out in in the fall...just to actually see what was done. If anyone has dealt with this guy he talks the talk but I know I got .... ****ED !!!!!
