Default red w purple stripe or red w/black stripe

can anyone tell me what they go to? been having a start prob since I put the engines back in. ive got a yellow w/redstripe to one of the starter slave cyl small wires and a red w/ purple maybe red and black on the other. starter does not do anything. was looking and the small terminals should have a yellow w/red stripe and a ground I think this is the culprit. what do you guys think?

You should have thin yellow/red and thin black on the small side terminals, medium red/purple and medium yellow/red on the bigger top terminals. (Red/purple is FUSED red, after the circuit breaker)
In case your engine has the transmission wiring harness there should be a yellow/black instead of black from the small terminal to the shift interupt on the transmission, which in turn grounds the circuit through a black.

Sorry, but I don't remember the us wire sizes right now, hope my definitions works ;-)
