Hey Guys,

May be looking for a new tow vehicle. What is the consensus on the new Ford diesels??

Im impressed to say the least.several buddies have them all with 3.55 gears and they pull awesome yet get low 20's empty.

I've never seen low twenties, more like 17-18. Awesome motor though with tons of power.

I agree with this statement as well. It is the 4th diesel I have owned and it is hands down one of the best right out of the box.

What Are you guys hauling. I'm going to have my trailer weighed but I estimate boat, trailer and fuel etc to be abour 13-14,000 pounds.

I'm towing 12-13k with ease. I had a 6.4 before and didn't expect a big difference with the 6.7 but its night and day between the two. If you go drive one you better bring your check book cause your probably gonna bring it home.

Yeah, you were right.I bought one tonight. Can't wait to pull the donzi with it!!

If you think it pulls good now, just wait till the motor gets a few miles on it!! I can tell you from experience that it only gets stronger, I have a 2012 and it pulls my boat effortlessly. I have one for work as well 53k on it pulls 25k trailer with plenty of power to spare for merging and passing. trailers have great braking systems for stopping as well you will love it!
