Take your FORD back and get a Dodge. I have a 2012 FORD 4x4 with the 6.7L. My engine blew up at 27,000miles. Crank Shaft broke. Out of those 27,000miles, I only towed my 15,000lb boat 120 miles. All the rest is commuting to work on the highway. FORD gave me a new long block and was quick to fix it. It towes like a champ, but it is not worth anything when your engine blows up leaving you stranded. Research it on Google. I'm not the only one... A lot of these engines are blowing up for no reason. Since I have a new engine, I am thinking of selling it. I kind of lost my trust in FORD.

My 6.0 crew, long, egr delete, chip, pipe.... EMPTY 80mph 21-23mpg depending on wind and fuel quality. Pulling my baja and gear. 12-13mpg.
We took in a 2011 with a plow worth 5k. i have personally inspected it. got rear brakes and i set the clear vision (steering wheel center). they set them high online. but could get into a 6.7 for under 60k. not a salesman... Im a tech.. just sayin is all. http://www.lindquistford.com/Vehicle...-IA/2010520023

I've towed my 15K boat behind a Duramax for almost 800 miles personally. This truck had a rough former life and now has 89K miles. I think this is a great option...... but this is MY TRUCK too. LOL
