Default 1996 340 Vyper w/ 502 Mag EFI- Correct prop

I just picked up a '96 340 Vyper and it came with Mirage solid hub 23p props. Seems these props were just thrown on at the dealer where I got it. Now it comes out of the hole good and does about 68-70 on the top(GPS) but if I give it to much throttle I seem to loose the water. I want to know what you guys are using for props and if a 4 blade would help with the nose bounce. I don't have to be the fastest guy, my 280 silencer was faster with the 500. I just want a good all around prop. Thanks

I have a 2000 34' viper with 454 efi mags and run a 4 blade bravo 28p pt# 48-831915. Good all around prop for the most part. 70-72 top speed on gps depending on fuel, passangers and lake chop. Curises nice at about 3200-3400 = 37-40 mph.

Does your 2000 have a step or is that on the 20001? I think that would make a difference...

Honestly i would try a 24p bravo or a 26p bravo, and see where youre at rpm-wise. If you can spin the 26p to 5100 then try a 28p bravo... Contact Bblades or CK Motorsports they will have very good info for you and have experience with those hulls (CK more for an info standpoint)
