Default 496 ho question

Hey guys had the strangest thing happen on the weekend and second guessing myself. Have straight exhaust (no restrictions) and when running at 4000 rpm thought I noticed a slight miss but switched to silent choice and didn't hear it. Switched back and was fine but then noticed rpm's bouncing between 4000 and 4200 but wouldn't let me accelerate passed that point. No alarms or anything. After sitting for an hour or so ran back with no problems. Any one have a suggestion I was thinking fuel or plugs?

Might be in a de-rate. Mine did something kinda similar when the IAC was bad.

Looked at this IAC does it create that much of a problem. If that's the case will it just keep getting worse and be slightly intermittent at the start. I haven't scanned yet but sounds like more than me and my 496 are having this problem. Thanks Wasted Income.
