Default 454 Mercruiser Cam and intake exhaust?

I have a 454 carbed 330 In my baja and the engine is toast. So im picking up a good used 454 and a set of 781 heads. So my question is what cam and intake would be a good choice? I am also looking in to some exhaust upgrades what is recommended?

Thanks

Where can I get a Merc 420 Cam? Do you know the specs on the cam? I was looking at these manifolds what else would have to be changed to run these? and are these the right 496 manifolds you mentioned?

So they bolt on any 454 as in old 1988 versions? What gasket do you need?

Fuil force...question, If I threw on rec. port heads, and that cam and had the ecu flashed or replaced it with a mag ecu, would I have a nice 400 hp motor or a time bomb??
