Numbers stamped neer the splines are: HC-CL23L-O-IV

Four blade
Measures just shy of 15.5" from tip to tip

You are correct. That is what you have. LH rotation.

Ok great

Ok I have a 27 fountain with the 502 mpi and I guess they come with the hydro from the factory and out of the factory the sheet claimed 68mph @5000rpm

I was getting 55mph gps speed out of the hydro so I took it off and bought a bravo 1 labbed prop off here and now I am around 60mph @ 46-4700 rpm with the bravo

My question is what prop would I be better off with for speed?

I'd like to be around 68-70 where most 27 fountains are running

Both props can work well. Our experience has shown a properly Labbed Bravo 1 to out perform the Q4. This isn't 100% of the time but in the majority of the cases.
Was the 23 Hydro Q4 on the limiter?
What pitch is the Bravo 1 you bought and where was it Labbed? I assume it is a 24 pitch. In order to run 68 mph with a Bravo 1 24P, you would need to turn it 5100 at 9% slip. That looks to be a tough option since you are only at 4650 now with 12.5% slip.

Let us know and we can help to get you closer to your goal.

The bravo is a 24p
The hydro is a 23p that came on the boat from the factory and they claimed 68 mph WOT

Perfect,

Let's get some back to back accurate numbers and go from there.

Brett

PS, if either of these props have been touched, even repaired, I need to know. Also, LH props are common on your hull due to listing....................

Yes,

Email the photos to [email protected]

See if there are any stampings on the barrel or inner hub of the propeller as well.
