So wife was laying on the back pad yesterday before we went out and had a new blue cover up on. Somehow the cover up stained my vinyl and it looks like a smurf took a dump on my back sun pad. I have tried everything I felt comfortabe using to get it out. I have used vinyl cleaner, small amount of clorox, Goop, Fast Orange and purple power on a small test area. Nothing is touching it.

Try magic eraser (lightly), then recondition with 303 protectant. After that, anything left should fade to white after a few days in bright sunshine.

Same thing happened to me. New red swimsuit that wasn't pre-washed. That's the rule now. All new suits are washed prior to getting on the boat!

What is the 303 protectant? I have seen that mentioned on other threads. Is it similar to mothers marine cleaner and protectant. That is what I have always used.

Clorox Clean Up and then sunlight should fade it away.

A product like Armour All, 303 is a really good product.

No need to use anything other than a normal mild cleaner and then let the sun take care of the rest. Anything too abrasive or chemically strong will remove the protective coating on the vinyl. I had red seats at one time from a new swim suit. Sun bleached them out back white.

How long did it take?

I was in "throw up" mode on the dock yesterday. What's even worse is my new nieghbors were looking the boat over and couldn't beleive it is a 97 because it is/was so clean. Then wife stands up and BAM!!!!!!!! Blue Smurf Stain.........

Don't recall exactly how long it took but they were definitely bleached back white at some point during the same boating season. Happened on a July trip to LOTO.

I had a new red shirt do the same thing on my boat. With the Clorox Cleanup and about 3-5 days of sun the pink satin was 90% gone and 100% gone in a few weeks.
