What kind of boat is this they are going to use in the Catalina Ski Race??????
I took a few shots of this boat after they were done practicing for the Catalina Ski Race. Never seen anything like this.

A guy on the ski race circut designed them and they are supposed to be faster than a Mutha'

Looks like the name is on the side of the boat towards the stern wrapped in whatever you call those things! But I believe it may be an Aussie or Kiwi boat. One somewhat similar showed up at DSM awhile back.

You run into the strangest boats.
By the way I used to (5 years ago) live in the Oakwood Apts on Victory in Woodland Hills.
I hope you got thru the Chatsworth quake ok..I had my entire apt trashed.
I'm in Florida now so I don't get the shakkking anymore.. just the hurricanes.
Oh.. If you will run your boat in Mission Bay along all the other classes in September I'd like to hook up with you. I'm now boatless, my EX made me sell it.
Below is what I truely miss
Sleekcraft 24, Day cruiser.. 455 olds racing up grade with a jucuzzi pump...I loved it..
