Default 496 Stroker Build Help which Cam?

I am buikding a set of 496 Strokers, but dont know what is the best Roller Cam for this setup.

1- Gen 6 Blocks 0.60 Over, Roller Block

2- 4340 4,250 Crank

3- H beam Rods 6.385

4- Icon Pistons IC9951

5- 088 Heads

6- Holley Carburater


Whats the best Roller Cam for this Combo?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thats a very open ended question.
Lots of other things come to mind:
What exhaust? what your goals are for the boat? Compression ratio?
Building a good motor takes a lot of planning

You did not post what exhaust you are running. That would be the most important part.

I have built several 496 strokers with Bob cams. They run great!

This thread has only been dead a few days, so forgive me if i hijack it a little early...
Let's assume these specs...

9.5 compression, EMI Revolution Marine exhaust (comes out under the water), heavy boat, dual plane intake. Current cam is Crane Roller Retrofit --> .553/.556 lift, duration @.050 214/222 --> What would you guess on Horse Power? Do you think this cam is a good match, or could I stand to go bigger?
