Default shopping for new ride this fall/winter/spring

looking to move up...will be selling/trading what I have now (title in hand) and moving up to a 37-39...maybe up to a 42. Looking at Outerlimits at the top of my list (Nor-Tech and Active Thunder too) must have the trailer. Want room in the cabin and reliable turn key power and drives. It does not have to be merc engines or drives but nothing exotic please. I move slow on this kinda stuff LOL. any suggestions or input????

I looked at and rode in all the boats you mention except a 42' OL (more boat than I wanted). If you want cabin room, you may want to focus more on the 37 OL as it has almost 6' of headroom. The 39' OL's have a smaller/shorter cabin according to a guy that I talked with that has a 39 OL.....especially if it's not the full cabin and a lot of 39's do not have a full cabin. I loved the 39' Nortech, but it also didn't have much head room, although the cabin was very nice. The 37 AT with side-by-side seating (side cabin entry) seemed really tight as well, but like the Nortech, it has all the amenaties.

If you are really going to take your time as you mentioned above, look at them all and decide from there. I'm going to assume there are some other things you will want out of a bigger boat than you mentioned above, so look at them all before making a decision.

definitely taking my time. I put a few inquiries in on a 39 that was for sale in Wisconsin that had a full cabin last year, it pupped back up recently...real nice looking with 600sci's, ITS XR's but it eventually sold. I will definitely want to ride in all of these before making a decision.

any info or pics of Cig92"s before i pester him ?????

Can set you up with 37 stilletto short stagger, 6's on a real nice myco. With or without power.

My two suggestions would be to stick with mercury power and buy the nicest boat you can afford.
