At drivers meeting Smitty and Phil said it was a go. No purse or tow money however. Majority of teams voted to go nevertheless.

Yup! Phil said there is a HUGE Corvette show going on that weekend, town will be packed. The Commander also knows about it. We got 15 rooms from them for our crew...no bs were going all out.
