Default SGRO had to move up in class for KEY WEST

I just found out that Sgros boat is to fast for the 117 class in SBI. I am confused if he never went over 117 why does he have to move up? Must be the people left in the class are complaining.

That's what I'm getting at. I have read more times than I can remember, and seen more talk on the internet about how this boat ran 152mph at LOTO, now they're complaining because they get booted out of a 117mph class???????????

In index drag racing if they feel your capable of going too deep into the next class time, you get bumped. Same applies here I guess.

Maybe true, I don't know, but look at the other boats in the class ,Broadco, instigator... Why should they only single out the outerlimits?

SBI made the rules if you build a boat to run the rules why is SBI changing them. I just bring this up because racing has become a joke, they can't get race teams to commit because of things like this. Look back on the 525 days of racing that was racing. Should build a 565 class today thats where the sport needs to go. Racing is a very important part of the sport, that is how most of the technology comes from and trickles down to the consumer.
