Talk about fast, a new Eliminator Boats 28 Speedster hits 174 mph with a pair of Larry's Engine and Marine supercharged power plants.

Nice article, I like that there is more tech stuff about the boats, from full prop specs to hints about lay up schedules etc. Congrats to the owners as well looks like a nice package. I would not be surprised to see more water/meth boats especially as turbos become more popular.

I would like to know how acceleration from dead start is with 5 people in the boat. Most 28s including mine suffer in this area

Impressive and good job, however I'd go for a ride in a 28' 170 mph boat the same day I stick my head in a chipper.

Congrats to Eliminator Boats ,Brad Stewart and Larry's engine and marine.I know how hard they worked and the testing that took place.
Larry's Engine and Marine is and has been the engine builder for Predator.Larry is also the co driver whenever we do a poker run.He also built the pump gas 1150s that is in my 42 outer limits .
