Default Bob Russell's Golden Gate to Queen Mary Endurance Run Set for Tomorrow

The Outlaw Offshore Racing team of Bob Russell and John Rogers will be running Russell's 51-foot Outerlimits Powerboats catamaran tomorrow from San Francisco to Long Beach in hopes of setting a new endurance record.

how big of a gas tank does it have to go 435 miles with twin 1550 sterlings?

Wishing JR and Bob a safe trip-the whales have been running south in record numbers this year.
The boat has a auxiliary tank just added and I think they have around 600 gallon capacity.The sterling motors have been de-tuned to 1150 to run pump gas.Be safe.

Pulley change,dial in new map, still very interested in the fuel situation, I think they will need at least 1000 gallons
