Hi there,
i own a donzi 26zx 1999 model, i was thinking of a 2inch shorty lower unit, and was thinking of any views tests etc from you guys, the hp is around the 650hp mark, top end rpm is 5800 and i can hit this with a 26p b1 labbed prop with the stock lower and get 78mph on gps.....
any guys have any experiences with shorties on this model ? what would my gains be with this new setup ?
thanks

DonZ,
All boats will may respond differently. Our experience is there is speed in the Imco lower at the same prop shaft height as the Bravo I lower....even vs the Bravo XR lower. You have to test YOUR boat to know for sure.
