Default ILMOR and INDY Drive Package

Hi Guys,

Happy New Year,

Looking for your experiences with the ILMOR 725 motor and INDY Drive package. Haven't seen many around, curious as to how they have been received.

Thanks for your input.

Mark

I retrofitted my ILMOR 710's w/ Indy Drives, best decision ever!!!
Increased reliability, handling & performance!
I don't think you'll be disappointed w/ the 725/Indy package since they were designed & engineered to compliment one another.
IlmorDude on here can answer any questions you might have about the package.

Just out of curiosity, because this would be way out of my budget, but has anyone used this drive on a motor other than an Ilmor? Ie possibly as a replacement for a bravo in a boat with bravo eating power? I realize the transom would probably have to be reworked. But I beleive the engines don't have to be moved like they would if you were converting a boat from a bravo to a #6

Teague has put Indy drive behind one of his high horsepower engines I want to believe there's a YouTube video single-engine cat.
I replaced my bravos with Indy drives but you have to have room for the transmission so unless you have a driveshaft or long input shafts I believe you may have to slide your engines forward converting from a bravo

I assumed that since Formula was using the 725/Indy combo in their 383 now, that the engines did not have to move forward. Of coure I could absolutely be wrong on that assumption.

Formula 382 uses the 725/Indy package. The Indy drive, like NASCAT said, uses our transmission.
The Formula 353 uses our 570 V8's with the bravo style set-up.
