looks like i am buying a hurr sandy hulk. usedta have 350 mag mpi motor. i have found a bad complete 7.4 efi motor. will it work? they are both 2000 model year. if i rebuild my gen IV 454 motor, will these heads work? can i put the efi intake on gen IV heads? or aftermarket alum ones? and mainly will the harness plug in and run the engine? is this a closed loop (o2 sensor) system? or open loop? where is ecm? if not bolted to motor, will small block ecm run the 454? can it be reprogrammed? i am probly gonna drop carb small block in it at first, but would like to know my options. thanx.

pls read the post. i asked if the stuff would fit a gen IV big block, and if so, would it plug in electrically to the small block mpi harness. and will a small block ecm run the big block. i didn't ask if i could put 7.4 efi on a small block. the orig 350 mpi motor is gone along with all accessories and all of the fuel injection.

The original 350 MAG MPI's ECM would have been bolted to a bracket that was bolted to the motor (on the exhaust riser I believe) so if you don't have the motor you do not have the ECM. Open loop system.
