I like to make my own spacers, and bolt them to the manifold to prevent problems.{ w/ flat head screws}

Things to consider:
- Sell you short deck intakes for 1/2 price
- $120-150 set for spacers
- $20-25 for extra set of gaskets
- Is the installed height of your current distributor adjustable?
- could the new intake make an extra 10-15 HP?

buy the correct intake, 1 set of gaskets less chance of a vac leak. if your trying to raise the viscosity do the carb spacer deal.

I sent all three of mine out to be welded on and machined by Wilson intakes. They looked bad with the spacers. This cost 5K for all three Now there for sale with about 10 HRS on them.

I've never had an issue using them. If done right you really can't tell they are there.
