Default Hard on the Drives???

I know I'll probably catch heck for this but another slamming sticks Fountain owner. So much for easing into the throttle. Boats not even on plain and there WOT.

Wow.... Please dont do that to your boat...
Why don't people learn to drive the very expensive toy they bought?

How in the.......what the....?

I just don't get it. I have only had my first power boat since Oct and it doesn't even pop into my head to jam the throttle all the way forward, let alone when the boat isn't even close to on plane yet.

Can't fix stupid I guess.

I know people that might as well have ON/OFF switches instead of throttles. Yes, they have been through a drive or two!

I always "babied" my boats on plane. But, I have to wonder what the rpm difference really is between 1/2 throttle and full throttle when planing???

The torque difference is what kills.
