I am looking to add a sea strainer to our single engine boat. The engine sits fairly deep and I don't have a lot of room to play with. I am thinking the only mounting option is low on the forward engine compartment bulkhead. My question and concern is how will I be able to reverse the water flow 90º back to the sea pump efficiently?

Here is the only picture I have of our engine and the area I'm looking to place it. Thank you for any advice.

That's a good idea, because as I posted that link I realized that hose will collapse.

Damn ,,,, that engine should have come with one ,,,,, lets see the whole engine compartment ,,,
