Default My first Poker Run

I have to say I had the best boating time of my life in my Baja this weekend.

I entered the Coastal Marine Poker Run in Port Clinton, OH. In I came with my normal looking 94 Caliper and not even an eyebrow was raised. I started in the back of the pack just to see the other boats go. We got into 3-5 seas head on going east towards Toledo. Next thing I know I’m in the lead, had a little navigational error but still was one of front ones in.

On the way out we had the same thing going back. I started out in the back. A lot of people took short cuts I held the course. What do you know I was one of the first guys there.

At several of the stops I heard my Baja being talked about “did you see that Baja runnin” among other things. All were in good light.

I’ve been running a 32 baja for about 10 years now, this is my second one. This was my best time.

Nobody was bashing Baja in western Lake Erie on Saturday. www.geocities.com/bajalion

Gongrats!
Glad you had a good time and seems like you represented us well!

I just checked out your site...Those are some killer motors you've got tucked in there! That boat must fly!

He, He, He

That is so cool. Sounds like a great time.

I tried the web site and it would not let me it. Will try back later. From your avitor it looks like blower motors. How much horsepower are you pushing?

Thanks again
Mark

Yeah, My website crashes if it gets to many pings. It measures by the hour. Any body know how to post a lot of pics I'll post them there? I'd be glad to e-mail anyone a set if you want. FYI they put out about 550 HP at 5300RPM. I put some smaller props lab finished and spun them up. The dyno showed almost 600HP/each at 5800 RPM. We we doing mid 80's. I don't like to push them that hard.

I'm still waiting for my first. I know what you are talking about in that type of water. I've been in that water on Erie when there is a good chop and I sure wish I would have been there to see you runnin'. I bet the boat looked awesome running across the water.

Bajalion,

You can send me the pics and I can post them on my web site for you. The link would be...

www.newfocusis.com/bajalion/index.htm or just a simple file area to click on the photos.

unless you wanted to buy a domain name...
