Running down lake at 3500-4000 rpm, feel a loss of power, hear 3 warning beep and stbd engine dies. Limp back to dock on 1 engine. get tied off and engine fires right up. Stbd engine very hard to engage in fwd and near impossible in reverse? I'm thinking shift cable caused an override which killed the engine? Thoughts please

Did you run the boat up to 4k under load after it happened to see if the stall would repeat itself???
