Hey guys,
Pretty new to the forum, I have a 2002 Conquest Top Cat that had an Innovation DPX600 package in it. Swapped in a Procharged BBC estimated around 800hp and kept the Volvo DPX duo prop drive. While it runs good, I'm WOT @ 5800rpm @ 72-74mph with the E2 props. E3's didn't really change it either. Was wondering if anyone thinks the E4's will make a difference before I spend $1500 on a new set or if I should look into gearing first. Can't find many people with DPX experience so any insight/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

We have done some repairs and truing to these propeller. There are only 3 sizes available to my knowledge.
It is strange the E3's didn't change something. Could you possibly be on the rev limiter?

Those numbers seem right on using a prop slip calculator and a 1.78 gear ratio your at 10% slip. I was told by Bronson/Hill these are the average combined pitch of the following propellers:
E2........26.8 pitch
E3........28.4 pitch
E4........29.5 pitch
Good luck a gear change to 1.59 would be ideal a gear set runs around 3000 for parts that's the only bad thing about the DPX drives parts are expensive..

make sure you have the props timed rite or all your going to do is get high slip numbers and go no where..i never line up the props..i mount the front dlade so the lower 2 blades are at 5 and 7 o'clock (with in reason ) and the outter blade with one at 6 o'clock..this way worked the best..

am looking to get smaller props. I have a 340 Powerquest vyper boat with Volvo dpx drives with e4 props. I repowered the boat from 525s to stock carb 502s. The e4 props r wayyy too big anyone has any information if I can go to a f series prop r do I have to stay with an e series because an e2 is the smallest they have. Any information would be helpful
Thanks a lot

I had a 2000 388 Hustler with DPX 600's and DPX drives.
Boat ran 89mph best top speed.
I've got 2 dpx props sitting around, lab finished like new.
They are the larger of the 2 props on the drives.
I'll have to check the size.
