Default Apache - guy tries to leave dock with rope still attached

So I stumbled on this video and I am not sure what to think. First question is does the camera guy and the boat owner know each other? Regardless I am not sure who is dumber, the owner or the camera guy. If you are the camera guy put down the camera and tell the guy he is still attached to the dock, clearly you could see he was getting ready to leave. If you are the owner, pay attention to your lines and then be prepared to unhook the lines yourself, don't assume anyone else is going to help you!

Was I the only one hoping the cover either stuck on that piling as he pulled out, and/or fell completely into the water?

Why wouldn't you take the cover all the way off? I just don't get the mentality of some people!

To be fair, I've idled to the trailer with the cover partially on/open; especially with looming weather overhead. But NOT in that particular configuration!
Either the cover is completely on, and I only have the helm area pulled back; or the cover is off the entire cockpit, and wadded up at the windscreen.

My buddy did the same thing a few weeks ago, forgot 1 line and tried to pull away. Kinda funny actually!! It was in the dark so I'll give him that!! Chit happens sometimes. The guy was alone and forgot a line, the camera guy should've said something!

I have also idled to the ramp without completely removing the cover when the weather was looming. No biggie.
