Try a heat gun and plastic razor if needed, Any residual glue when decal is off try wd40 and rub with light towel. Works well taking off all the damn warning stickers on off road toys applied on plastic and fiberglass.
Hard to describe how to do heat gun and best pay to peel off, but once you do one or two you'll get the nack.
Edit in: a longer fingernail can replace plastic razor. Easy way to spot professional detailers. Usually they'll keep a longer nail on one thumb. LOL.

if your like me and dont have a heat gun. use the old ladys blow dryer it works just as well for this case. if you dont have an old lady with a blow dryer i dont know what to tell you. brake clean or ether after wd or pblaster will take the oil out of the gel. then you will need to wax it again. like others have said. a plastic scraper or your nail works best for getting the stick started. hopefully it will come off in one piece.
if all else fails. an eraser wheel is badass.
