Now that is an interesting case. No one is immune from the effects of alcohol, but for an officer to impaired on duty (he should have called out sick), I will make an assumption he is a daily drinker and this day was coming. I could be completely wrong, but my assumption is probably dead on accurate.

If I was licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, I love to take this case, this is a f*cking goldmine for a DUI attorney. He really f*cked himself but good.

My guess he is not well liked on the force...in Michigan it would have been covered up and he would have been taken care of by his own...sad but true.

You can't cover a sh*t storm like that here in New Jersey now a days, I would say this trooper is f*cked but good. Another assumption by me without the facts, but I would bet money he is done in law enforcement, he should consider any other job that does not require a valid driver's license and or gun/weapon. If he wants to continue to drink the vocation of bartender may be better suited for him.

The boat didn't look like a TOTAL LOSS to me, apparently they don't have many skilled fiberglass repair guys out there?

On a serious note, I wonder if he was out drinking ON THE BOAT and then this happened afterwards.

What a moron.

I was thinking: "confiscated some kids booze and drank it instead of pouring it out!"

We had a case like that in Jupiter......Cop got stopped for DUI in the next town over and he got "a courtesy ride home".......a couple months later, same cop drives his patrol car to the police station (drunk again) and blew a tire turning into the station......his own dept. arrested him this time, career over.
