Question Transom rubber seals

I can`t seem to find a rubber material to make the transom seals with that is high temp. Ive tried a few from Grainger that say high temp but they don`t last.
The pre made ones from Teague are too small , I need a bulk material so I can make my own...

You can buy silicone sheet. Very pricey though, makes excellent high temperature gaskets

Are you talking about the tail pipe seals? If so, I had to modify the ones I got for my Cig to get them to work. Pita

McMaster-Carr is my go to 99% of everything store. I'm one day away shipping from one depot too.

They should be on everyone's favorite list.

Grainger is local and I can usually pick up next day, silicone rubber then, I`m thinking 1/8" like this:

http://www.grainger.com/product/Rubb...Code=P2IDP2PCP

Mc Marter Carr Hart needs to do something better than them drawings for a catalog, I just can`t warm up to that.

Penis, Mcmaster is local too. Right off 290 somewhere I think . Better prices than granger rape zone. Pick me up some if you go. Click on "extreme temperature silicone rubber" halfway down middle of the page. Cheaper, higher heat rating, and better tensile strength than the grainger stuff.
