My boat has strong torque twist to one side at speed,I need to realy grab the wheel hard,500EFI with Bravo X 1,36-1 and B1-24`prop .No play in gimbal.
It looks to me it`s no backup from the powersteering,is it possible for the powersteering actuator or the powersteering pump to go wrong?

at idle how does it turn ? pump does not know left or right, if you are having a difference from left to right look at the actuator, that controls left to right pressures

It feels like very litle help from the powerstering,only the helm pump doing the job.Thanks

the helm is no pump, it just directs fluid flow, either pump gone of filter clogged, sounds like pump done...

Yes I have a separate helmpump instead of the std cable steering.
