Yes, I know it sounds pathetic, but I am a little new at this powerboat stuff. I have TRS drives on my Excalibur, I just want to make sure I am putting in the correct gear lube. I was told to put in the Mercury "premium" gear lube that is gold in color opposed to green. The only reason I was a little thrown off was the label said "engineered specifically for Mercury Mariner and Force outboards".???? Is this the right stuff?? If not what is???

I always used the regular Merc stuff. I switched to Amsoil last winter then traded the boat before I ran it.
