Only 4 races left on the regular schedule to quailify for KW this coming yr. All teams MUST race atleast 3 SBI races to race in KW.

Is there a change coming to the rule book? According to SBI General Rule Book page 56, last paragraph it states the following:

2. Eligibility –
Teams are welcome to race in the 2014 Key West World Championship. A
team qualifies by having raced in the 2013 Key West World Championship, by
racing in any three (3) SBIP races during the 2014 season, or at the discretion of
the SBIP President.

Only 4 races to go.

So you have to race the last four races to go to KW?

So if you only race 2 SBI races in 2014 you will not be allowed to race key west?

According to the rule book, I would call or email SBI.

LOL Has anyone been turned away that wants to race in KW??? The money they collect off you at that race alone covers there bills for the year. Its another way of getting you to go to more event. IMO if its in the rule book then you should stick to those rules NO EXCEPTIONS or take it out of the rules. What would the international teams due then? They don't do 3 races.
Look at it this way. There wouldn't be many boat in KW if you had to run 3 races during the year. I would say there are less than 10-15 teams that would qualify.

Its pretty amazing that you know how much SBI collects at the worlds and what his expenses are, to make a statement that its pays his bills for a yr. But as always mis information from you is no suprise, Maybe you should post the balance sheets that you reviewed to make that lol comment.
