Default Don't know whether I'm proud or embarrassed....

My oil tank hold down broke, and I REALLY want to be on the water with my (new to me) boat, so a quick trip to the hardware store yielded this TEMPORARY ahem, modification, until the blue powdercoated tray arrives....

I don't know whether I'm proud I thought of it or embarrassed that I did it.

I'd say proud. If anyone says anything about it, play the "McGiver card" and tell them to F.O..........and that's all I have to say about that.

If by McGyver card, you mean give them an emergency tracheotomy with a pocket knife and an ink pen tube, I'm in.... "Whoops, hit the vocal cords, my bad!"

Glassdave liked the photo so it must be OK. I see an apprenticeship in my future! Lol. It's not gonna rain for Skaterfest! There's a law against it I think!

You are not done with it. One is the oil tanks need oil in them, they are low. 2 is I would slide the oil tanks over and put a loaf bread, some bottle waters, bottle mustard, and the rest of the stuff to make sandwich on the shelf as well. Maybe change out the bottle mustard for Grey Poupon.

I topped off the oil and put all the lunch items on the shelf as suggested. I also grabbed olive oil for the loaf of bread. If I end up with blue bread and a blown motor, I'll know I mixed the oils up....
