Default Batteries when listening to stereo

Just a quick question, when drifting or anchored and listening to the stereo, where should the battery switch be? (1 or 2) I don't want the hr meter running when engine is shut down.
I own a 06 25ft Baja SST.

Thanks.

Hr meter should not run unless the key is on. Battery switch will depend on how you have the stereo system wired in.

I have my stereo battery bank on #2 and all my amp wires running to those batteries. I play it until it goes dead. Change it to #1 and fire the boat up to go home.

Perfect, The boat/stereo is stock, so with that said we just use the stereo with the cockpit switch on and the key off.
Thanks for the reply..
