Power steering belt.
Anyone know what the sizes (length and width) for the power steering belt on a Gen6 454 330hp motor? It is the one that goes around the crank and circulating pump. I got the engine used and the dealer in the area does not have any so I want to go to the local auto parts store, but I need the demensions. Thanks

Take a piece of string, wrap it around the pulleys with the accessory in position, pull it nice and tight and measure it end to end.
Go to your local parts store and buy that length belt.
I've done it many times.

Dave I have found that to get ya in the ball park but sometimes it can be wrong due to all the different thicknesses. I will just tow the boat to the place on my way up to Maine if I have to and just park out front
