Pulling a 525 in Cigerette top gun

Guys
I am wanting to pull my port motor in my top gun. Is there enough room to pull it without removing the drive?? Are there any tricks or hidden suprises I need to look for??
I plan on getting it freashened up. New valve springs, rockers, and so on...

Pull the whole thing get it out of the way, and no chance of dropping something and not being able to get it. Shouldn't take more than 2 hours to pull 1 engine. Did 2 Monday, 2.5 hours both. 500 efi's on the ground. I stand a ladder straight up at the back of the platform with a pad on it, and lean the hatch back against the ladder. No need to take it off. And yes leave the drives on

It's an 2003 boat. I put Stainless Marine exhaust on it last winter, no more headers to worry with. Was gitting a little blow by is the reason for the rebuild. I have all the tools and equipment to work with, I just don't want any suprises..... There is tons of good knowledge and helpful folks on here..

Like others said, just pull them out.
As a guy who spent and hour plus dicking around with a stuck on drive I would spend the 20 minutes pulling the drive too just to look around and clean off any corrosion beginning to form. I had left mine on for 2 years and paid the price.
I also decided last week that I'm not going to winterized any more. I'm just going to pull them every year and put them in the garage. Then I can do a real easy oil change and pressure test the headers.

I own a 2003 top gun with 525 efis I can litteraly have the motor out in 40 mins no need to pull the drive
motor plate bolts 2 rear bellhousing bolts fuel line and some cables .never take the hatch off pull the pin and tilt it back
I put it back in the same way

if you have bravos you should pull them if you never pulled a engine b4..it can be done if you have the room to slide the engine forward to clear the bellhousing..but be careful not to break anything..i remember around 10 yrs ago a friend was trying to pull his 454's out of his scarab..i was a little late going to his house to help him well he got pissed and crazy with his backhoe and basicly broke every piece of aluminum on the inner transom ring and bellhousing..
